Aims
The first version of this sausageit website was designed to be as lightweight as possible.
There was no scripting or backend database (although the configuration means I can use these features if I wish). The aim was to simply provide an easy to navigate site whilst reducing network bandwidth.
This version has now been replaced with version 2.

The latest version (the one which you are currently browsing) is built upon a popular Open Source framework. 95% of the information is pulled dynamically from a database. This newer site is easier to maintain and is a much more scalable system.

!UPDATE...Now I have full access to the Google platform, I will be building a newer version of this site within/using Google's infrastructure... should be good.
