Sausageit Virtual Football Manager
Aims
Sausageit Virtual Football Manager is a multiplayer online football management game. Players control a club, team, players and finances.
I have designed and developed a highly scalable and maintainable base system, using the MVC design pattern.
features include: buy/sell players, advanced search features, league tables, training, tactics, team selection, match stats and a (currently primitive) match engine.
The first version was created in PHP and was a major part in me winning the Vodafone award for high achievement in 2007.
This development has stopped, but I am looking to build a newer, better version using a much more exciting set of technologies... watch this space!...
I am hoping that this second version will provide a rich (desktop-like) experience for users within a browser, and will be built for both web and mobile devices
